A Pretty Good Hosting Deal

Poweb is offering 5GB space/ 10GB Bandwidth for $7.77 a month....But read the actual offer. You get the $7.77 webhosting with a $30.00 setup fee for a three month signup and you have to pay $15.00 for the domain. Now, if you are willing to sign up for a year you get the domain free and six months extra hosting for a total of 18 months - no set up fee.

Basically, the 3 month hosting package costs you $70.00 and the 12 month package cost 12x$7.77= $90 for which you actually get 18 months hosting. (But your domain will expire.)

Read the fine print and judge the offers...Servage is still winning from where I am sitting.

Surprise Enhancements

As a follow up to my previous comments on Servage, they’ve once more provided a free upgrade to their service.

Although it’s pretty much useless to me at this point, they’ve gone from providing 2500 MB of storage space to 5100 MB. If nothing else it’ll be a good place to store stuff that I’d like to access away from home.
